Who we are

Relational Minds is a supportive space for parents who want calmer, more connected ways to respond when family life feels hard.

We focus on understanding what’s going on beneath behaviour and helping parents feel steadier and more confident in everyday moments. Our work is grounded in respect, compassion, and practical guidance without judgement, pressure, or quick fixes.

This isn’t about doing more or trying harder.
It’s about learning how to stay connected, even on difficult days.

About the founder

Relational Minds was founded by Dr. Alberto Veloso, a child and family clinician who has spent many years supporting children and parents through emotional and behavioural challenges.

His work is guided by a simple belief: when parents feel understood and supported, children benefit too. Dr. Alberto brings a calm, relational approach that values curiosity, kindness, and realistic support for real family life.

Relational Minds exists to offer parents a steadier place to land and guidance they can return to when they need it.

Let’s Walk & Talk

Sometimes it’s easier to talk when we’re moving side by side, rather than sitting across from one another.

Walk & Talk offers parents a gentle way to slow down, reflect, and talk things through while walking together in a calm, open space. There’s no pressure to have the right words, no expectation to fix anything — just time to think, breathe, and be heard.

This is a space to bring what’s been sitting with you: questions, worries, uncertainty, or simply the need to talk things out. Walking can help ease tension and create enough space for clarity to emerge naturally.

At Relational Minds, Walk & Talk is about connection, understanding, and support — offered at your pace, without judgement or urgency.

If you’re unsure where to start or have a question, you’re welcome to reach out.
