About Relational Minds
A calm, supportive space for parents and families
Relational Minds exists to support parents and families when things feel hard, confusing, or overwhelming — especially when you’re not sure what to do next.
We believe families do best when they feel understood, supported, and safe. Our work is grounded in the idea that meaningful change doesn’t come from pressure or blame, but from clarity, connection, and steady support over time.
You don’t need to arrive with all the answers.
This is a place to pause, make sense of what’s happening, and find a way forward that feels right for your family.
How we work
At Relational Minds, we take a thoughtful, relational approach to supporting families.
This means we focus on:
Understanding what’s happening beneath behaviour
Supporting parents as central to their child’s wellbeingÂ
Building clarity and confidence, step by step
Working at a pace that feels respectful and manageable
We recognise that parenting a child who is struggling can take a toll. Our work holds space for both the child and the adults who care for them — because parents need support too.
Â
There are no quick fixes here.
Just steady, compassionate guidance that meets families where they are.
Meet the Relational Minds Team
Relational Minds is supported by a team of practitioners who share a commitment to calm, relationship-based care.
Each member of our team brings their own experience, perspective, and care to the families they support. What connects us is a shared belief that parents deserve guidance that feels respectful, human, and grounded in real life.
We work collaboratively, thoughtfully, and with deep respect for the complexity of family life.
About the Founder
Dr. Alberto Veloso
Relational Minds was founded by Dr. Alberto, a child and family clinician who has spent many years supporting children and parents through emotional and behavioural challenges.
His work is guided by a simple belief: when parents feel understood, supported, and confident, children benefit too.
Dr. Alberto is known for his calm, thoughtful presence and his ability to help parents make sense of what’s happening beneath behaviour — without judgement or pressure. He values curiosity, kindness, and practical support that fits real family life.
Relational Minds grew from this work, and from a desire to offer parents a steadier place to land — one that prioritises relationship, understanding, and care over urgency or performance.
Who this space is for
